Budgie Bakes T&Cs

  • Budgie Bakes is a Victorian-based small business specialising in handmade fudge and sweet treats.

  • We take care to ensure all product descriptions, images and pricing are accurate. As our products are handmade, slight variations in appearance, colour, size and presentation may occur.

  • Product availability may vary and some products may be withdrawn or changed without notice.

Pricing

  • All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD).

  • Budgie Bakes reserves the right to change prices at any time without notice.

  • Any applicable shipping costs will be displayed at checkout before payment is completed.

Orders

  • Orders are subject to acceptance and availability.

  • Once an order has been placed, you will receive an order confirmation. This confirmation does not guarantee product availability.

  • Budgie Bakes reserves the right to cancel or refuse orders where necessary and will provide a refund if payment has already been received.

Payment

  • Payment must be received in full before orders are dispatched.

  • Payments are processed securely through trusted third-party payment providers.

  • Budgie Bakes does not store complete credit card details.

Shipping & Delivery

  • Budgie Bakes currently ships to addresses within Australia only.

  • Orders are generally processed within 1–2 business days and dispatched via express shipping to help ensure products arrive as fresh as possible.

  • A flat-rate shipping fee applies to all orders and is displayed at checkout.

  • Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary depending on location, weather conditions, carrier delays, public holidays and other circumstances outside our control.

  • Budgie Bakes is not responsible for delays caused by third-party shipping providers.

  • Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information. Where an order is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address, additional shipping charges may apply before the order can be re-dispatched.

Product Care & Shelf Life

  • Budgie Bakes products are handmade using quality ingredients and are best enjoyed fresh.

  • For best results, products should be stored in the refrigerator and removed approximately 10 minutes before serving to allow flavours and texture to develop fully.

  • Fudge may also be stored in the freezer.

  • While our fudge can last for up to two months when stored correctly, we recommend consuming products within 14 days of purchase for optimal freshness and quality.

  • Customers should always refer to product packaging for specific storage and best-before information.

Warm Weather Disclaimer

  • As Budgie Bakes products are handmade and contain dairy-based ingredients, product texture may be affected during periods of extreme heat during transit.

  • Softening, slight movement or changes in appearance do not necessarily indicate a product fault and do not affect food safety when products are stored according to instructions upon receipt.

Allergens

Our products may contain or come into contact with ingredients including:

  • Eggs

  • Soy

  • Gluten

  • Tree nuts

  • Peanuts

While every effort is made to minimise cross-contamination, Budgie Bakes cannot guarantee that products are completely free from allergens.

Customers with allergies or dietary requirements should contact us before placing an order.

Refunds & Returns

  • Due to the perishable nature of our products, Budgie Bakes does not offer refunds or returns for change of mind.

  • If your order arrives damaged, contains incorrect items, or you believe there is a quality issue, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and provide photographs where possible.

  • We will assess each matter individually and may offer a replacement product, store credit or refund where appropriate.

Market Purchases

  • Budgie Bakes products are also sold at local markets and events.

  • Customers are encouraged to inspect products at the time of purchase. If you experience an issue with a product purchased at a market, please contact us as soon as possible so we can assist.

Corporate, Wedding & Custom Orders

  • Corporate gifting, wedding favours and custom orders may require additional lead times, minimum order quantities and deposit payments.

  • Any specific pricing, delivery arrangements, payment schedules and cancellation terms will be confirmed at the time of booking.

  • Deposits paid for custom orders may be non-refundable where ingredients, packaging or production work have already been committed.

Intellectual Property

  • All content on this website, including text, images, logos and branding, remains the property of Budgie Bakes unless otherwise stated.

  • Content may not be reproduced, copied or used without prior written permission.

Limitation of Liability

  • To the extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, Budgie Bakes is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of our website or products.

  • Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes rights available under Australian Consumer Law.
